Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

In Psalms 139, verse 14, the Psalmist David praised our Creator God by declaring: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”

This is true of every human being who has been created thus far, and who will be created from now on.

“I ammade.” He declared. My Friend listening to me now, you did not happen, or evolve into existence. You exist because Almighty Creator God made you. He made you as an eternal living creature that will never cease to exist. Also, He is forever in full, complete, absolute control of you.

Now Why Fearfully made”?

Because after this life, there is the distinct possibility that your Creator God will cast you into Hell’s eternal lake of fire to forever thereafter, exist in never-ending fiery torments, to weep, wail and gnash your teeth forever without remedy and without end. I cannot picture anything more fearful than that tragic, eternal fate.

Regretfully, billions of eternal human souls have already gone to Hell to abide forever in that literal fire. And a few billion more will join them by the time God’s Final Judgment is over. That is the major truth that is fearful regarding your never-ending existence. I assure you, my Friend, that you do not want that to be your eternal fate. And I can just as assuredly promise you, that it does not have to be.

That is because you are the one who decides and chooses your own eternal fate, and you make that choice during your present life on this earth. Thus, I plead with you. By all means, do not make the wrong, eternally disastrous choice.

Carefully listen again now, to that Scripture in our Creator God’s Holy Bible. “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” “Wonderfully made” because you can choose right now, if you have not yet chosen, to live forever in eternal bliss with God in His Perfect Heaven, or wherever in His universe that He deems, after your present life on this earth ends. My Friend, Nothing could possibly be more Wonderful.

The choice is clear and simple, and it is entirely yours to make, eternally tormented or eternally blessed. Truly, how fearful and wonderful is this most weighty choice. No one but you can make this choice regarding your eternal fate. So I plead with you. Please don’t cheat yourself out of God’s freely given eternal joy and bliss. That is the most foolish and most detrimental thing you can do during this short life on earth. God forbid that you make the wrong and eternally fatal choice.

My Friend without Christ, right now, please enter into an eternal, wonderful existence by sincerely voicing the following prayer to our Creator. I promise you that He is listening attentively to you: So, please pray thus wise in sincerity, “Almighty God in Heaven, I repent unto You for the wrongs that I have done. Please have great mercy upon me to forgive me, and to cleanse me from sin by God’s Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross for my sins. Please re-make me into a new creature, a child of God my Creator. Thank You, Lord God, for hearing this plea of mine. Amen.

My Fellow Christian Friend, It behooves us believers to keep in mind that Almighty God is The Creator of ALL things. Therefore, no creature ever creates anything. You do not create, because you are not endowed by your Creator with that ability. Now, God did bestow upon you the ability to think, plan, talk, speak, discuss with others, consult others, consult and study the vast records of knowledge and instruction the human race has lain up on this earth. You have the God-given ability to instruct, teach, write, draw, design, structure, form, work, labor, make, assemble, produce, manufacture, build, cook, bake, and any such activity that turns out a “product” or that is beneficial in some manner. But you have no ability to create. To proclaim that you create something is to sinfully usurp that ability which belongs to Almighty God alone. And I have no doubt that He is highly displeased with all such vain boastful speech that nowadays ascends up to Him from mankind.

So stop boasting about creating things. And please, cease praising children for “creating” a poster, or a drawing, a story, or anything. Choose appropriate verbs from that long list I just rattled off, in order to encouragingly compliment young ones on what they make, construct, draw, write, build, or such other handiwork of theirs.

Also, use those verbs to properly describe that which you yourself accomplish (being ever so careful not to boast of self or to elevate yourself). And above all else, with much thanksgiving, zealously give your Creator God the Glory due to Him for bestowing upon you the ability to accomplish that good thing which you turned out. And finally, do all for God’s Glory, and in accordance to His Will.

Listen to Colossians Chapter 1, verse 16: “For by him (referring to Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him. and for him:” End quote.

Listen to Revelation Chapter 4, Verse 11: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are and were created.” End Quote.

But, present day highly-risen mankind bellows out “Of the people, by the people, and for the people.” I will be no part of it.

Genesis Chapter 1, verse 31: “And God saw every thing that he had made, and behold, it was very good.” End quote.

Thru out the church age, each time a lost sinner repents and trusts in the Saviour of the world, Almighty God re-creates that human being, making him into a new creature, a child of God. Possibly, God will continue creating new things for all future eternity.

But He hasn’t bestowed that ability upon us. So let’s hush our sinful lying and boasting about us creating.

Listen to the following salient, glorious Scriptures.

In Isaiah Chapter 42, verse 8, Almighty God declares, “I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another.”

Exodus Chapter 20, verse 5, “For I the Lord thy God am a jealous God.”

Exodus Chapter 34, verse 14 “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”

Regretfully, this end time generation has gone mad by often speaking of us humans “creating”, even when a small child makes a simple object. Such vain speech feeds vain pride. Each of us should sincerely pray to our Almighty Creator God (and soon-coming Judge) in the following manner.

“Almighty Jehovah God in the Highest Heaven, please correct all my speech to make it pleasing unto Thee, by giving Thee all the Glory that is due to Thy High and Holy Name. Amen.”
